Thrash

Founded in the summer of 2004, Contorsion from Switzerland developed into a thrash metal powerhouse.

 

This powerhouse has already released several albums - the first "Solace Through Lies" in 2010, the second "Planet Parasite" in 2014 and a third "UZN" in 2017.

 

In 2019, Contorsion took a new approach and recorded their first EP, "Thrash Metal Domination". This six-song EP was a testament to their musical evolution, offering a more detailed sound and a more melodic approach to solos and vocals.

 

Their latest EP, "The Children Of The Snake", was also created during the global corona pandemic and recorded in 2022 at SOS Basement Studios.

 

"The Children of The Snake" represents a further refinement of the band's songwriting as they venture into new thematic territory. The 6-track EP shows a more mature and detailed approach: The track "The Children of The Snake" is based on a fictional tale about nightmares. The scary fairytale tells of children who, led by a snake, relentlessly haunt one's dreams. Aside from this haunting title track, the other songs explore a range of different themes. Some deal with harsh realities such as pollution and betrayal, while others are more fun-filled.

 

So you can expect a die-hard, well-rehearsed band that is always committed to thrash metal and continues to develop!
